At Lakewood, they really take seriously what Jesus said in Mathew 25:40, where He said that what you do for the least of these, you also do for me. Even in these uncertain financial times with rising maintenance and operating costs, Lakewood continues to provide for the needs of the disadvantaged and homeless. Lakewood provides meals to families, they take meals to several of the homeless sites in the area, provide clothing for adults and clothing and toys for children in need and Lakewood assists the needy who have a tough time paying their utility bills.
