I will praise you as long as I live,
And in your fluter I will lift up my hands.
In the morning and in the night,
I will honor your every command.
My heart cries out for you Oh Lord,
In the silence of this hour.
May I sense your Holy presence,
Like the fragrance of a flower.
Descend on me in love and power,
For I need you on this day.
The pressure of life is bearing down,
Only you can lead the way.
You alone are my comfort Lord,
No one else can understand.
I bow in awe of your love and power,
And humbly raise my hands.
These hands I lift to praise your name,
Were once stained with sinful mud.
But now they're clean and holy,
They've been washed in Jesus' blood.
Accept this humble act of praise,
From your servant to the end.
These hands that once served only self,
On the cross they now depend.
