Ethan and Pam’s Favorite Recipes and More

My wife Pam and I would like to share with you some of our favorite receipts we have collected
over the years from our travels, and share some lessons we have learned about meal planning,
 preparation and execution  Enjoy!

I would like to share something with you that might make life a little easier and a bit more enjoyable. My wife has been disabled for many years and I do all the cooking at our house. We also eat a lot of unhealthy fast food. We have a lawn service to take care of the yard, and a home health worker to help with my wife and clean the house. Needless to say however, meal preparation has always been a major chore for me, since I work part time and I’m involved in ministry, which take a great deal of time. This all changed since learning about a new way, at least it’s new to me, of cooking called, Sheet Pan Meals. Healthy, fast and delicious meals are now the order of the day at our house. If you would like a fast and easy way to make delicious and healthy meals, with very little cleanup, then check out the Sheet Pan Meal videos on YouTube. I made one today, salmon broccoli, carrots and potatoes, and it was great and there was very little cleanup. Pam and I loved it. You just put everything on a sheet pan and bake it in the oven. There are tons of these recipes on YouTube. After you get the hang of it, you won’t even need a recipe. You'll just put the things you like on a sheet pan, set the temperature and timer and forget about until the timer goes off. There’s no more hovering over a hot stove, tending to multiple pots and pans. When the timer goes off the meal is ready to eat. This method of cooking is so fast, easy and delicious, you will probably also save a lot of money, because you will not be going out to eat as often, and this method of cooking is much faster than going out or having meals delivered. And like I said, it is also a lot healthier, because you'll be eating a lot more vegetables and using less fat. Tuesday I will be making Polish sausage with potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli. Wednesday I am making meatloaf, potatoes and asparagus. Yum Yum! I will be also be using frozen vegetables so I don't even have to prep them. I would like to point out that I have added a new Recipe option to the menu bar above. It contains a collection of our favorite recipes that we have collected from all over the world over the years. It is our desire to not only feed you spiritually, but also physically.  If you would like any of the following recipes, just send me an email at the email address below.  Enjoy!

Healthy Chicken Sausage and Veggies Sheet Pan Meal

I made this using canola oil. I also used frozen veggies, that I had on hand, so it only took 5 minutes to throw together. I used sweet potato, brussel sprouts, onion and broccoli. You can use any vegetables you like. You can also use any spices you like. Select the YouTube link below for a fast video on how to make. Enjoy!

Meatloaf Sunday, Sheet Pan Dinner

Today is Sunday and I thought I would surprise my wife with a meatloaf dinner.  The veggies are potatoes, carrots and asparagus. This meal was so fast and easy to prepare, and I only have the sheet pan to wash, and a mixing bowl. I baked it at 375° for 35 minutes. Then I placed the sauce on top of the meatloaf, and bake it for another 10 minutes. My wife loved it, and O my was it delicious! If you would like the recipe, then please email me at the address below.

Polish Sausage With Veggies, Sheet Pan Meal.

I made this for lunch today and my wife loved it.   It was so delicious, and so easy to make.  It fed four hungry people with some to spare, and clean up was a breeze.  For the recipe just search for it on YouTube. I can just  imagine that they probably made something like this back in Jesus' day in a brick oven.  Can you imagine sitting down with Jesus to eat a meal like this.  Jesus would probably provide the bread and wine. We did invite Jesus to join us before we ate. There was four of us, so I know He accepted our invitation. Enjoy!
