Music Video explains Ethan's purpose and WhisperArt's purpose

WhisperArt Children Centers Initiative

Ethan’s wife Pam had the gift of giving, and she was compelled to use that gift for God’s purpose and for God's
glory, just like Ethan is compelled to use his gift of encouragement for God's glory, and the Apostle Paul was compelled to use his gift of preaching for God's glory. The goal of all three was/is, to allow Jesus to work through them to help turn off the darkness worldwide and allow the light of Christ to shine. Pam was diagnosed with MS early on in life and she made the decision not to have any children of her own, because she thought, children might require more than she could provide. Ethan did not necessarily agree with her decision, but he supported her in her decision nonetheless. Pam explained that there were so many needy children in the world to love, that they did not need any of their own. Throughout Pam‘s entire life, she used her gift of giving to give hope as many children as possible and to brighten their lives. It is in this tradition that WhisperArt is pleased to announce the inception of this new initiative, WhisperArt Children Centers, dedicated in memory of Ethan’s dear sweet wife Pam. Just like it was Pam goal to give hope to and brighten the lives of needy children throughout the world, that too will be the goal of WhisperArt Children Centers. WhisperArt Children Centers, will provide a safe environment for children, supervised by godly teachers, to enjoy their childhood, by doing arts and crafts, which in-turn, will help them to realize what their spiritual gifts might be. Pam's purpose was to use all of the gifts, talents and abilities that God gave her, to allow Jesus to live his life through her, so that she could help turn off the darkness in the lives of so many needy children throughout the world, and allow them to enjoy their childhood. We would like to invite you to join WhisperArt in this cause, by using the Donate Now button above. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

New Devotion

Matthew 2:9
After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was.

My dear sweet Pam and I we’re married for 40 years, and God just recently brought her safely home to heaven where Jesus is.  A few hours before my dear sweet Pam passed from this life over to the next, the attending ICU physician asked me if I wanted him to place her on life-support.  I informed him that she and I had discussed that topic many times in the past, and she had always indicated that she would not want to be resuscitated, or put on life support.  So I told him no, that she had suffered enough.  While sitting there with her and holding her hand, waiting for the inevitable end, I wondered how I would ever get along without her.  I always depended on my dear sweet Pam, much like coal miners depended on canaries, to warn them about the potential danger of poisonous gases deep down inside a mine.  This is one reason I wrote the line, “ I feel as though a part of me is missing”, in the poem below.  For 40 years, God used my dear sweet Pam, the star of my life, to help direct my course, much like He used the Star of Bethlehem, referenced in the Bible verse above, to guide the Magi to the place where the baby Jesus was.  God had always used my dear sweet Pam to fulfill the promises He made in Jeremiah 29:11 which says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  So how was God going to accomplish this moving forward, I wondered?  God being God, answered this question in an awesome and mighty way! I played several songs during the last half hour of my dear wife’s life on this earth. The first song that played, and I don’t even know how it got on my cell phone, was “Earth Has No Sorrow Heaven Can’t Heal”.  The words in that song were so comforting to me. I then played a random selection of songs that I had written, the last one of which was entitled, “Have Mercy”, which would be the last song my dear sweet Pam would hear while still on this earth. I wrote this song many years ago, which I thought was about my own Christian  walk upon this earth, and my future entrance into heaven. Little did I know back then when I wrote this song, that it would be the song that I would imagine my dear sweet Pam singing, about her walk and her ascension into heaven. I would also like for you to know, that this song ended at exactly 7:00 PM that Sunday night and that was also the exact time, my dear sweet Pam crossed from this life over into heaven.  That was God’s way of letting me know, that Pam’s time had come, and that no amount of life-support could have changed that.   It was also the exact time that the Shekinah Glory of God came down and filled that ICU. Jesus not only lifted my dear sweet Pam up into heaven, but he also lifted me up as well, and sat Himself down fully upon the throne of my life.  That was the most beautiful experience I have ever had, and I remember voluntarily saying, “Jesus Christ is Lord”, and my life has not been the same since. I now know that it will be the Holy Spirit of God who indwells my heart, that will guide and direct my course going forward.  He will take me to where Jesus and my dear sweet Pam are!  My dear, sweet Pam, had always exemplified the admonition of God as to how godly wives should live their lives, as written in 1 Peter 3:1-6.  She had both an outer beauty and an inner beauty.  Use me going forward dear Lord, while life remains. Praise the holy name of Jesus! God is good!

Sorely Missed

Yesterday was your memorial service,
And I awoke not knowing if my tears.
Were caused by blessings from God above,
Or a longing for my wife of forty years.

I feel as though a part of me is missing,
You were always my reason for living.
You always kept me on course like a star,
By your gentle ways and a love so giving.

Today God is helping me to understand,
And I’m beginning to get more excited.
One glad day in God’s timing,
Our soul’s will be reunited.

Until that day when we meet in heaven,
Jesus will help me navigate life’s turns and twists.
I’ll trust Him to get me to where you are,
Until then just know you are sorely missed.

The WhisperArt website is being dedicated in loving memory of the life and purpose of Ethan's dear sweet wife of 40 years, Pam

Now that the new WhisperArt website has launched, Ethan is dedicating it in memory of his beloved wife Pam, who recently crossed over from a life of pain, sickness and suffering on this earth, to a new life of joy and happiness with her Savior in heaven. During her life on this earth, Pam was a poster child, of what Jesus referred to as, the least of these. The NEW WhisperArt website has been modeled to reflect Pam’s desire, to minister to and alleviate, the suffering of the world’s broken and down trodden. You can be assured, that when you support the efforts of WhisperArt, you are a partner with us, in not only helping to fulfill Pam’s mission of spreading a message of peace, joy and love to the entire world, but also of fulfilling the purpose and mission of why God sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to this earth, to suffer and die on a cross for your sins and mine.

January Focus United Prison Ministries International

It is only because of the grace of God that more of us aren’t locked up behind bars. It is also by the grace of God that Jesus wants to set the prisoners free, both spiritually and physically. Crime is one of the biggest problem in America today. Lawmakers would have us believe that gun control legislation is the remedy to the problem. I submit that the remedy to the problem is that people need Jesus in their heart and that they learn how to love their neighbors. This is the goal of United Prison Ministries International. Psalm 27:4

Seeking After God

Seeking after God brings contentment,
More than anything else you can do.
Close your eyes and quite your mind,
He has a message just for you.

Don’t be afraid to listen for God,
Or fear what he might say.
He can express the harshest message,
In a manner that casts all fear away.

When you receive a word from God,
It might be accompanied by a gentle touch.
It’s God’s way of letting you know,
That you are loved so very much.

God is the giver of all good things,
Seek Him out for His will to impart.
He stands ready to heap on you,
The honest desires of your heart.

My dear Pam suffered for 40 years,
But never once did she ever complain.
She always had a smile on her face,
And quietly praised Jesus in her pain.

I tried to care for and comfort her,
As I watched the MS take it’s toll.
But it was Jesus who lifted us both,
From the depths of that deep dark hole.

Because of God’s grace and provision.
Our lives where filled with God’s grace and love.
People looking in from the outside,
Couldn’t understand her strength came from above.

I was with her when God called her a home,
I wouldn’t bring her back if I could,
She suffered long enough in this cold world,
And when she crossed over the Jordan, Jesus stood.

At this time I would like to thank you for joining me here today for this inaugural presentation of, WhisperArt presents- Into All The World, on the NEW WhisperArt website. Next week I will be referencing Genesis 1:1, as we start all over at the beginning of the greatest love story ever told, for those who may not have already read, The Book.

On a personal note, as I sat holding her hand, I played several songs during the last half hour of my dear wife’s life on this earth. The first song that played, and I don’t even know how it got on my phone, was “Come As You Are”, that had the words which were so comforting to me that said,, “There is no pain, sickness or sorrow on this earth, that heaven can’t heal”. I then played a random selection of the songs that I had written, and I invite you to listen now to the song, “Have Mercy”, which was the last song my dear Pam would hear while still on this earth. I wrote this song many years ago, which I thought was about my own walk upon this earth, and my future entrance into heaven. Little did I know back then when I wrote this song, that it would be the song that I would imagine my dear wife Pam singing, about her walk and her ascension into heaven. I would also like for you to know, that this song ended at exactly 7:00 PM that Sunday evening, and that is the exact time that my dear Pam passed through the golden gates into heaven. It just goes to show that Jesus always arrives, right on time. Praise the holy name of Jesus! God is good!

Christian service is like a power plant,That’s the way it’s always been.
You can pray all night till the cows come home,But your light won’t shine unless the turbines spin.

We’re not all called too be,
Mother Teresa or Lady Di.
The next time you hear His heavenly voice,Why not say, Yes Lord it is I.

He might just want your light to shine,And bring glory to His name.
He might want you to care for a child,
Who’s alone and out in the rain.

Is it just me or does the world seem to be,Just a little bit more dark?
Maybe we should finish the job,
Started by Mother and the Queen of Hearts.

If you think that He can’t use you,Because of the sin in your past.Take it from me and get on your knees,He’ll make you equal to the task!

The Rose

Song of Solomon 2:1
I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

I’m sure at some point you have asked the age old question, what is the meaning/purpose of life? I'll soon be sixty seven years old and I have refined this question somewhat to; what is the purpose of "my" life? Or in other words; Lord, what do you want to do with the remaining years I have left? My wife and our eleven year old beagle helped me to answer this question. Sometimes my wife, who had MS and was bed-ridden, would see Little Hank going through the house and she would say, "Little Hank, you have such purpose". So what was Little Hank's purpose? It is to love us unconditionally and he certainly did a superb job at doing just that. I sometimes wish my life had as much purpose as Little Hank's. The Bible tells us that we should imitate Christ. Well, what is Jesus doing? Again, the Bible tells us that Jesus only does those things He sees the Father doing. So, what is God the Father doing? He is loving us unconditionally. So much so that He gave His only begotten Son to die on a cross for your sins and mine, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. In other words, Jesus showed His unconditional love for us by denying self for your sake and for mine. So my strongest heartfelt desire for the remainder or my life, is to imitate Christ and glorify God by denying self and allowing Jesus to live His life through me. Just like my dear wife Pam did for the past 40 years. If we do this, then we are satisfying the greatest command in the Bible which is to love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength and our neighbor as ourself. My wife and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary, and the the only thing she wanted was a single rose. She couldn’t decide however if she wanted an artificial/imitation rose, or if she wanted the real thing. Dear friends, my dear Pam, the flower of my eye, recently went to heaven and I am happy to report that she did indeed receive the real thing. Imitate our God in heaven, and you too, can give the world a rose. Praise the holy name of Jesus!

The rose is a rare and precious flower,
That adds beauty and pleasure to our lives.
The type of pleasure that warms the heart,
Long after each petal withers and dies

If a rose could talk it would speak of love,
In a voice so clear and true.
It would speak of the passion in God’s great heart,
For people like me and you.

I wish I could give the world a rose,
Just to show how much I care.
A rose with beauty to make a mark,
And show God’s love is meant to share.

Long ago God gave the world a rose,
Jesus Christ was a flower in God’s eyes.
Like a rose His beauty graced our world,
And touched so many precious lives.

I thank you dear Father for the rose,
That allows me too look beyond my pain.
The rose that reminds me of your Son,
Who for my sin on Calvary’s cross was slain.

 Thessalonians 4:10-12

And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

For 40 years, my wife and I tried to adhere to the advice given above. As a matter of fact, my wife really, really admired the Amish.  When we would travel to Ohio to visit with family, she always wanted to spend a day in Holmes county, which is also known as Amish country.  She just loved seeing all their arts and crafts, and learning more about their simple way of life.  My wife was diagnosed with MS shortly after we were married, and was unable to do the things that most wives do for their husbands.  I cared for her and I never complained, but I always secretly thought to myself, wouldn’t it be nice to have a robot that would be capable of not only preparing a good cup of coffee, but could also bring it to me.  My wife passed away a couple months ago, and I still find myself enjoying a quite and peaceful life as described in the verses referenced above, and I also now enjoy working with my hands, to make and consume a good cup of coffee that I make myself.    Robots have long since advanced beyond the point of performing menial tasks.  I asked Alexa the other day how long it would be before robots replace medical doctors. Her answer was approximately 10 years. I also saw a segment on TV the other day that reported that Walmart is working with a robotics company to develop and use robots at all 4000 of their distribution centers throughout the country during the next eight years. People are being replaced by robots. I’m sure you have heard of the Industrial Revolution,  I refer to this new revolution that is emerging, as the automation revolution.  In the near future, the only people who will be able to get a job, and be seen as valuable to the elite, will be those who have advanced engineering degrees, who are able to develop and maintain this new automated workforce.   With that in mind, I would suggest that people start developing and using the gifts talents and abilities that God has given them, like the Amish have, to provide for themselves and their families, like described in the verses referenced above.  I don’t think it will be long before the elite can maintain their lifestyles using mainly automation and robotics.  Robots never become exhausted, and their upkeep is much more cost effective than humans who require time off and expensive benefit packages.  There is also a movement today, to reduce the world population in order to lessen the environmental footprint caused by humans.  Could this lead to mandatory sterilization policies/laws across the globe?  How long before even the world’s militaries are made up of robots instead of flesh and blood soldiers?  It sort of reminds me some of the visions that the apostle John wrote about in the book of Revelations. In light of the verses reference above, and the reality of the impending automation revolution, WhisperArt is engaging in a new initiative to build WhisperArt Children Centers at different locations throughout the world in order to help children realize what their spiritual gifts are, through arts and crafts, and to encourage them to use their God given gifts, talents and abilities to serve themselves, their families, their neighbors, and to glorify the creative genius and reflect the awesome beauty of our all loving God.  WhisperArt would like to invite you to join us in this initiative, through your prayers and giving, to help prepare our children for their lives ahead. Praise the holy name of Jesus! God is good!

Sign Of The Times

The world is constantly changing,

It’s enough to blow your mind.

I’m not saying it’s good or bad,

It’s simply a sign of the times.

World history is still unfolding,

In accordance with God’s plan.

Even before the foundation of the earth,

God set the stage for the redemption of man.

Civilizations rose and civilizations fell,

According to God’s love and grace.

Each one contributed in some way,

By teaching us how to live by faith.

In the years that lie ahead,

Remember the story of Job if you would.

Unlike Job let us always remember,

That our omniscient God is good!

The world is constantly changing,

It’s enough to blow your mind.

I’m not saying it’s good or bad,

It’s simply a sign of the times.

World history is still unfolding,

In accordance with God’s plan.

Even before the foundation of the earth,

God set the stage for the redemption of man.

Civilizations rose and civilizations fell,

According to God’s love and grace.

Each one contributed in some way,

By teaching us how to live by faith.

In the years that lie ahead,

Remember the story of Job if you would.

Unlike Job let us always remember,

That our omniscient God is good!

Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

I served in the US Army from 1977 to 1981. I was a peace time soldier working on, high tech offensive missile defense systems, and I served under two Presidents. The majority of my time in the military was during the Carter administration, and the remainder of my time was spent at the beginning of the Reagan presidency. As a soldier, I was sworn to follow and obey the orders of the commander and chief, regardless of who it might be, but my real allegiance was to the American people, and the constitution of the United States, in which all Presidents are also sworn to uphold, defend and protect. Although I was not a Christian at the time, I truly believe, that our all knowing omniscient God, used this period of my life, to prepare me for what lie ahead. Because of the technical training I received in the military, I was able to land a good paying job with the defense contractor that built the high-tech defense systems I worked on in the military. It wasn’t long after that that I married, and within three years, my new bride was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. My wife, who worked in the healthcare industry, knew what we were both in for. When we returned home after receiving her diagnosis, she said to me, “You did not bargain for this, so if you want out of our marriage, I will understand.” Because of the values instilled in me during my stent in the military about honor, duty, and loyalty, I had the courage to say to her, “You don’t have MS, we have MS!” And so it was, and we went on to live happy joyful lives for the next forty years. This was made possible, because shortly after her diagnosis, we both accepted Christ into our hearts, and God provided for all our needs. I learned very quickly that I had the gift of encouragement, and because of the technical skills learned in the military, and later with my employer, I began to write poetry, songs and devotionals as I sat each morning in prayer and meditation, while waiting to be of service to my wife, and I also built a website so that I could share this material with the entire world. In closing I would just like to make the following point. The role of an encourager is to share what God has done/is doing in his/her life, with the hope that people will realize that if God will do these things for me, He will also do them for you. At an early age, just like the Bible says, God had a plan for my life. Not to harm me, but to prosper me and to give me hope and a future. God has always been so faithful over the years, and He certainly did what he said He would do. My dear wife passed away a couple of months ago, and I had to do decide what I was going to do with the rest of my life. For the past 35 years I was my wife’s caretaker, and I have been a virtual missionary going into all the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. For the remainder of my life I intend to not only be a virtual missionary, using technology to spread the gospel, but to also be a spiritual medic, in God’s army of light. To provide encouragement to spur on and provide comfort to those who are battling and those being injured by the evil one. Praise the holy name of Jesus, our Supreme Commander! God is good!

Army Of Light

I spent four years in the military,
It taught me how to be a man.
I learned the value of loyalty, To others to weak to walk or stand.

The skills I learned during those four years,
Served me well in my marriage.
When Pam was diagnosed with MS,
I attended her needs never to disparage.

Then it happened that I went to see,
A monument erected for a rock.
My nephew Allen was killed in battle. He was always willing to walk the talk.

I accepted Jesus into my heart that day,
He began to teach me how to serve and fight. Jesus became my Supreme Commander.
I’m now a soldier in His army of light!

Think About It

Do you like my new T-shirt, which says, “My Lifeguard Walks On Water”, or do you think I’m crazy? Everyone thought Noah was crazy, until it started to rain.
